Default Weaning meds

I have successfully weaned off Plaquenil and Zoloft since they were implicated in possible PN. After reading through this thread my instincts agree that Rx meds may cause more problems than we expect them to fix.

One combo of drugs prescribed to me by my neurologist I am reluctant to stop, and I wanted to gather some input. I have not found anything conclusive in web searches.

He felt I had atypical migraine. My symptoms were left-sided facial numbness and tingling, under the tongue jabbing pain, with or without frontal headache that would send me to bed early with pain. For this I am taking Vimpat (lacosamide) 100 mg. 2x daily, verapamil 80 mg. 2x daily, and amitriptyline 50 mg. at night. This combo has been effective in reducing my facial/tongue symptoms and headaches. That said, it does nothing for my PN symptoms in my LE, but I have accepted that it won't. (my neurologist still says it might, but I just smile and say nothing at this point.)

Any input would be great!
