Hi there, although I don't know much about strokes, has your mom gone for an EMG/EEG to check her nerves throughout her body? Test the severity of the weakness in her limbs. And a brain or spinal MRI? To see if there's any abnormalities.

When you mentioned burning all over the body, nerve pain came to mind right away. Not sure if that helps at all, but maybe something to think about.
