Do you wear tight clothing? Is the numb feeling mostly the thighs? Are the feet affected?

Tight clothing and belts (jeans especially) can pinch the lateral femoral sensory nerve and give numbness and other sensations in the upper thigh...mostly in the front and sides. This is called MP (merlagia paresthetica).

If the numb feelings extend to the calves and feet then MP is not
likely.
