I also think this could be mono. Any difficult swallowing? Have you looked inside your throat? Any white spots? Any fever? Strep throat can cause vomiting. Swollen nodes are very common in mono.

You need to contact your doctor as soon as possible. If it turns out to be strep they will more than likely give you and antibiotics. Mrs. D is right, of course, for mono there are no medications. It is a virus.
