I took Cymbalta in the past. They started me at a low dose and it seemed to work helping my depression and my pain from arthritis. Started to notice some improvement in about 3 weeks. They kept increasing the dosage till it was up to 90mg daily. The side effects were bad, and worse was if I missed a dose I became almost psychotic. I knew something was wrong but the NP that was prescribing it for the psychiatrist would not listen to me and I could not stop taking it on my own without becoming psychotic and near suicidal. The withdraw symptoms started within 36 hours after I took the least cap and by 72 hours I felt like I needed to be hospitalized.
