Thank you so much Cara! I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. Alcoholism is such an awful disease and it does so much damage to our lives, our health and the well being and health of our families. My hubby and I are both in a 12 step program and we have never been to so many funerals as we have since we joined. It is a sad thing. I know how difficult it was for me to get sober. I had to attend alot of meetings, and get professional help to deal with all of the reasons I drank in the first place. But I never take my sobriety for granted....my next drunk is only a bent elbow away. It really is a lifelong recovery. Again, I am so truly sorry for your loss. Dorrie

Congratulations. If you can manage seven years it shows you can manage for the rest of your life.
