Not a lot to report here; I am well.

My latest adventure was taking my two cats to the vets for their annual check-up and vaccinations. Getting them into their cat-cage was interesting. The bites and scratches that I got in doing that are healing well.

They both seem to have forgiven me for that .

I feel like my body is failing me but in truth I have failed my body. Hoping my body forgives me and that time will heal the immense damage that I have done. In the meantime distraction helps.

I am looking forward to seeing my kids for the holiday and maybe a couple of their friends. The holidays are not what they use to be but still I try to make them special.

2435 days sober.

I would of posted earlier....but I was in prison.

Nothing like spending a beautiful day trapped in a maximum security facility being wanded, frisked and stripped of your iPhone. I felt naked....

Anyway, I am taking a month off from PT until my insurance kicks back in, but I have plenty of daily exercises to do to keep on top of things. I keep forgetting to take my vitamins and such...that could be a good and bad thing.

I am going to hike the mountain this weekend (the one I can see from my 'hood), and the summit is 3800ft above sea level (I live at 800ft) and its 1.5 miles to the top. I'm taking a friend with me, but she is only about 110lbs, so she may leave me at the top. Wish me luck!!

That all sounds good Icehouse.

Have fun on your mountain hike - I doubt that your friend will abandon you at the summit .

My life is constant drama. I was stressed to my limits and for a brief moment I thought about going to the liquor store for what I tell myself is medicine to calm my nerves. I am pleased to report the thought was fleeting. Once I am sure I have control over this addiction I will consider some meds to make my PN more bearable but for now I believe it serves to keep me sober. I too want to climb a mountain some day.
