I'm here, safe and sober but missing the heck out of you guys. I've had some serious health problems but for the help of my DDDDSSSSH would not have a job, income of self worth. He's the best and this may be a small place to pay him homage, but Andy, dearheart, you continue to prove yourself over and over again and I have noting but undying love for you and supreme confidence for us and our little family.

Wow! How nice to see a familiar face after all this time! Even though I was lurking in secret at the old boards I have still been checking in on you all from time to time and decided to "come out of the closet" (so to speak) for a reunion.
I was really hoping Teddiebears was here but I haven't seen her wonderful, calming words of wisdom.
Oh well - time to catch up. How have you all been? I am known as the (formerly) scandolous Doxiegirl. That was then, this is now.
I have finally gone and gotten hitched and started a fantastic job I absolutely love this past summer. Life is running along pretty smoothly these days.
I'm still struggling, more or less, with addiction. The occassional pain med or sleeping pill to fight that constant struggle with insomnia is my own personal devil. I'm not jonesing, persay, nor do I have any uncontrollable physical withdrawals when I don't take something but the mental addiction is INCREDIBLE! I feel like I can't sleep at ALL when I take nothing and after a few days of that - well, I turn into a very crabby person indeed.

Ok, enough about me. Who all from the old gang is around and how ARE you all??!!

Well I'm not one of the "old gang" as many of my posts here were either ignored or overlooked but I did try to help on occasion when I could, if someone new came along and needed support or a regular was feeling down and needed to vent. I found this place to be clique before, hopefully it doesn't get that way again.

I've always considered myself a nice person and never had a problem making friends so I could only assume that it was the board, not me. Hopefully this time (if the board gets up and running) it can be geared more towards being accepting and helpful to newcomers. I think it WAS at one time but it really seemed to be drifting away from that before the old BT crashed, it was always "where is so and so" and the new people who posted for help, many times, didn't get it. Or, they received 1 or 2 responses at best.

Any rate, not pointing fingers, hope everyone here is well and take care.
