Confused Leaky gut syndrome

Does anyone have an experience or information on leaky gut syndrome. I have developed new food intolerances and have chronic pain. I have changed my diet and feel better. I have an appointment with a nutritionist. I have blood work scheduled with an integrated medicine physician. I spoke to the nutritionist at the office and she said it sounded like I have leaky gut syndrome. I looked it up and I have many of the symptoms. Trying to find answers.
