Cool March is Blood Clot awareness month . . . :
ALS patients are at a greater risk of blood clots because they lead a sedentary lifestyle. Organizations such as the National Blood Clot Alliance foster improved awareness and skills in preventing, detecting and treating blood clots.

You can improve your preparedness through reviewing these several sites:
