Lightbulb the rise of the exoskeleton . . .

those of you who have been following my 'lab notes' for a while probably know I have suggested on a number of ocassions exoskeletons may prove to be highly valuable to patients, . . . this morning I sought a map of the arctic sea to determine what country 'owned' some near-by land there. I typed atlas into google and, for the first time, not one, rather than not the first one, not one of the references where a map of any kind. I guess this shows the continuing rule of Greek mythology . . . it also showed a web page from Boston Dynamics feature the Atlas robot under development there, and here are a couple of videos showing how advanced they have already become:

how far behind can good exoskeleton's be? . . . btw,

the current artic sea ice is at record lows for this time of year for about a month, good chance both the north-east and the north-west passages will be open this year . . . here is an URL for satellite imaging of the arctic ice cap:
