MDA Symposium: Doctor Brown
I vaguely remember Doctor Brown being introduced by Doctor Berry as the researcher who discovered mutant Copper-Zinc superoxide dismutase and the G93A ALS mouse. Doctor Brown did not speak at the Massachusetts ALS Partnership Symposium in 2018 but was there and asked the panelists question apparently designed to increase the productivity pressure on them. Doctor Brown made an excellent historical presentation at the MDA symposium and for the first time appeared to be happy rather than a somber 'lone-wolf.' He expressed confidence efficacious treatment was likely to develop in the near future. I have attended a number of Doctor Browns talks over the years, undoubtly the best one I seen.
