From Boone, North Carolina, Dean of Libraries for Appalachian State University, continued in employment for several years, despite diagnosis, via use of adaptive technologies. Dane Ward will continue Unversity affiliation: “I have had a great opportunity to talk about and research ALS for an audience I never anticipated working with.”
