From The Packard Center:
Underground film maker Patrick Sean O'Brien, at 30, never considered ALS as part of his life story. But now that he has the disease, he's channeled his fight into the documentary he's making. "Everything Will Be OK" details his life with ALS in typical dark, gutsy O'Brien style. He hopes it will advance support for protected stem cell research and other possible therapeutic paths. This Friday, the feature story on http://www.signalradio.org/, a radio newsmagazine on Baltimore's NPR station, WYPR, involves a discussion with the newly-married O'Brien. But the program's of special interest because Packard Center Director, Jeff Rothstein is also part of it. As a clear voice of current science, he'll describe the newest directions of stem cell and gene therapy research. Tune in to WYPR, 88.1 FM this Friday, August 31 at noon or listen to the re-broadcast at 7 p. Source: http://www.alscenter.org/ Patrick Sean O’Brien http://patrickobrienfoundation.org/ ![]()
