On a world basis, more than half a million people suffer from ALS.
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease, is a neuro muscular disease, which rapidly causes paralysis of all muscles in the body. One of the consequences of this is that persons with ALS quickly lose the ability to speak. As a result, efficient communication aid becomes paramount.

This film is dedicated to demonstrating some of the communication aid technologies currently available on the market – and to showing why these technologies are invaluable to people with ALS as well as to their family and friends.
