RemedyMD Announces Agreement with ALS Association Research Department to Facilitate Translational Research Knowledge Management

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 27, 2008 - RemedyMD(R) Inc., leading provider of clinical and translational research solutions, today announced an agreement with The ALS Association's research department, which will implement RemedyMD's Investigate(TM) research software suite in three phases across TREAT ALS(TM), its translational research portfolio. Investigate's Web-based technology enables full grant management and researcher collaboration, as well as the aggregation, mining, and cross-referencing of data. The goal is to increase commercialization opportunities and translate research results more rapidly into effective treatments.

"Using RemedyMD's technology we will integrate ALS research knowledge, greatly enhancing our ability to design, lead, manage and communicate about research initiatives to researchers and the broader clinical, patient and donor community," said Lucie Bruijn, Ph.D., Science Director and Vice President for The ALS Association. "Forward thinking, adaptable and cost efficient technology investments are a critical strategic tool for disease focused organizations such as The ALS Association, enabling them to leverage vast knowledge bases to be more effective at directing research and other core activities. The vision is to converge clinical/patient, research, legislative and donor/investor data onto a unified system to make clinical research more effective, more quickly."

"We look forward to a very productive relationship with The ALS Association," said Michael Malone, President and COO of RemedyMD. "Investigate(TM) will play a pivotal role in their mission to move more discoveries from bench to bedside."
