Let me start by saying that I'm not trying to offend anybody with this. I am thinking of holding contests/games that involve drinking beer and being in a wheelchair. I haven't made all the rules yet because I don't know if this idea will fly - I want to see if anybody else would be interested first. I plan on having complete rules, judges, record keeping, and many different events with different classes in specific events (if needed). There will be a small entry fee, there will be food and kegs provided. YOU MUST BE CONTINUALLY DRINKING IF YOU WILL BE COMPETING!!! Like I said, there will be guidelines and things in place later. You must be 21 to participate in the games. This will be outdoors - once it warms up. Some of the games will be balancing on 2 wheels in place, slolom courses on 4 wheels and on 2 wheels, different types and lengths of racing, skills and control challenges, and so on, and maybe some drinking games similar to "Beerfest". No drugs, no fighting, etc. Like I said, this is just an idea I haven't fully developed yet. If I start getting emails from people who are interested then I'll keep going with this. I think the hardest part will be finding wheelchairs that you can use. You can't use electric ones, and I'm pretty sure you'll want the style with the small wheels in front and large wheels in back (for all the balancing and 2 wheel events). If you think it might be fun and you're interested, let me know and I'll start a list and keep everyone posted, maybe we can work together to make sure it's well organized and a good time.
