Thumbs up Rolling - The Documentary

Rolling - The Documentary

See the documentary "Rolling" about people's experiences in wheelchairs, featuring, Ernie Wallengren, a writer-producer for television, and an ALS patient who passed away in 2003.

You can see the documentary online here.

Wallengren was diagnosed with ALS in 2001 at the age of 48. For the documentary ROLLING, Ernie was the third person to volunteer to take a videocamera and film his experience as a wheelchair user. He started filming after he had been in a wheel chair for one year. Watch the entire film now. […]

Rolling...Coming SOON!!

It has been quite a while since we gave you an update on Rolling. Last time you got an email from us it was when we were heading the the Winter Music Conference in Miami. That trip went extremely well as we promoted like crazy and even screened the film due to a high demand.

Since then, we have been overwhelmed with people asking when they could see Rolling. Everyday, we receive dozens of emails wondering when Rolling will be showing in theaters or available on DVD.

Well, we have GREAT NEWS!!!

While we can't give you exact details we can tell you we are in the final stages of negotiating a distribution deal that will release Rolling early next year. It has been a long time coming and we are extremely excited to finally share this film with our fans (YOU) who have patiently waited to see it.

We are currently in the process of preparing for distribution and getting the film ready for its release and...

We need your help.

1. WE NEED MUSIC. While most of the music in the film has been locked down, we still need replacement tracks for a few scenes. We are extending our Soundtrack Competition until September 1. 2008. That means if you or someone you know has music that you would like us to considered to have in the film then please send us tracks or links to a place where we can hear the music. Please be sure you or the person you know owns the rights to the music. Please send this to soundtrack@rollingmovie.com

2. If you haven't yet, Buy a T-shirt or Poster from our website. Your support will allow us to prepare the film for distribution!

3. Tell a friend about the movie and send them to our website ( http://rollingmovie.com ) to request a screening in your area. We will be going to select cities in January and February and need help deciding where to go. We will go to the areas where we see the highest demand.

This s a very exciting time for Rolling and we wanted to inform you of what is going on. Remember, the more cities that show interest, the greater chance we have of extending our tour! ROLLING will be hitting as many cities as we can in the next year, so log in and tell us where you're from so we can be sure to put your city on the list!

Thank you for your continued support, suggestions, ideas and comments. We couldn't do this without our fans... and we have the best fans in the world! Keep spreading the word and look for us in the theaters near you soon!

XOXO,
the ROLLING crew
