AMERICAN IDOL TUNE WILL HELP FIGHT ALS
Dec. 15, 2008

Proceeds from the online sale of a new song by American Idol season seven contestant Michael Johns can benefit MDA’s ALS Division.

Johns, an Australian-born singer and songwriter, released his latest song, "Another Christmas," Dec. 9 on iTunes (www.apple.com/itunes). He decided to donate proceeds because of his friendship with Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell, whose mother Betty passed away in June from the disease.

O’Dell teams with MDA to raise awareness and funds to fight ALS, and was a co-host of the 2008 Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon.
