Thumbs up Indestructible DVD to ALS patients free of charge

Dear Friends and Family,

The holidays are a time for warm gatherings, giving heartfelt gifts and reflecting on what matters to us most. We know you have been moved by my brother Ben's extraordinary journey and how highly you value his film Indestructible. That's why we hope you'll honor Ben's memory by including ALS Film Fund on your holiday gift-giving list this year.

Now, more than ever before, ALS Film Fund relies on the generosity of people like you. This funding allows us to continue the important work that Ben began -- educating, inspiring and invoking change for the benefit of ALS patients worldwide.

Your donation will allow us to continue sending the Indestructible DVD to ALS patients free of charge who would otherwise be unable to see the film. Your gift will also help us cover the costs of adapting the film for television, and translating it into multiple languages so we can bring Indestructible to a truly global audience.

By donating to ALS Film Fund you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you did your part to bring this inspiring, provocative and award winning documentary film to the forefront of public awareness, and contributed to finding a cure for this vicious, devastating disease. You'll also help provide the vital connection and emotional support ALS patients and their families so deserve long after this year's holiday season ends.

Every gift makes a difference, no matter the amount. When combined with gifts from fellow contributors, the power of your giving grows exponentially. Many of you also work for corporations that provide matching funds for charitable donations and this is a great opportunity to double the power of your generosity.

You can give your gift online directly through our 501c-3 fiscal sponsor, The San Francisco Film Society.

If you prefer to mail your gift, please click here for our Donation and Purchase Form.

For any questions or to donate over the phone, please call Rebeccah Rush at 312-848-5919.

Be sure to send in your individual or corporate gift before December 31st to be eligible for a 2008 tax deduction!

In times like these, it is reassuring to know we can turn to people like you who value the true meaning of the holiday season - to share love, connection and support with others less fortunate than us.

With heartfelt thanks and high hopes for the New Year,

Rebeccah Rush
