Harley-Davidson will host a swap meet on Jan. 10 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., to raise funds for the Southwest Florida Muscular Dystrophy Association.

To be held at the Fort Myers dealership, 2160 Colonial Boulevard, those interested in participating in the swap meet can register by calling Jessica at 275-4647 or on the day of the event from 7 until 9 a.m. Tables will be provided at a cost of $15 each or two for $20. Only motorcycle merchandise will be sold.

A food vendor will be on site for the entire event and all the proceeds collected will go to benefit the Southwest Florida MDA chapter.

"We are so excited to be working with MDA again," commented Scott Fischer, Harley-Davidson of Fort Myers owner. "The local biker community is so giving and involved; it's incredible to see them come together for this worthy cause."

MDA is a voluntary health agency dedicated to the eradication of the muscular dystrophies, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease), myasthenia gravis, the spinal muscular atrophies, Friedrich's ataxia and a host of other neuromuscular diseases. The local MDA office is located at 6225 Presidential Court, Suite B in Fort Myers.

For more information, contact Cheryl Kunkle at 437-6900 or visit: www.mdausa.org.

Fort Myers Harley-Davidson has a strong commitment to motorcycle safety as well as the community. For more information on this event or other local Harley activities, please call 275-HOGS (4647) and speak with Jessica Fischer or visit: www.hdfortmyers.com.
