Talking Giving green

Giving green
The Muscular Dystropy Association is hoping for good luck raising money in a tight economy, with its 26th annual Shamrocks drive.

You'll be seeing the green and gold shamrocks for sale ($1 and $5) at grocery stores, restaurants, etc. through St. Patrick's Day.

The money goes to fund MDA's network of 215 medical clinics; a youth summer camp; research; education and advocacy; and services.

In addition to folks with muscular dystrophy, MDA helps people with other diseases, such as ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
