Huntington Bay artist painting against the clock
BY JIM MERRITT | lilife@newsday.com 7:45 AM EST, February 28, 2009 VIDEO Mark Kuhn's latest works of art seem to vibrate with incandescent color. Decorating the walls of Kuhn's Huntington Bay house, the paintings are filled with interlocking green, blue, pink and orange figures, which dive, somersault and leap on the canvas. http://www.newsday.com/community/new...281,full.story

Mark Kuhn's artwork
The Huntington artist continues to paint, frequently incorporating figures from earlier sculptures, despite his diagnosis with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease. His series called "Lifeline" is to be exhibited in July. http://www.newsday.com/news/local/lo...5.photogallery
