Chattanooga Chapter OSL Offers Spirit And Truth Healing Conference

A Southeast Regional Conference on christian prayer and healing will be held on March 19-22 at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. This conference is open to all interested individuals and is hosted by the Chattanooga Chapter OSL.

The topic of this conference is Spirit and Truth Healing. Conference keynote speakers will be Rev. Josh Acton, Bishop Ruth Urban and Norma Dearing.

Rev. Josh Action is Rector of Christ the Redeemer Church in Yuma, Arizona. He is the head of Desert Rain Ministries, a healing center. He works with youth and adults. He is an experienced healing conference leader and retreat leader.

Bishop Ruth Urban has a great passion for the christian healing ministry and has been deeply active in healing prayer for thirty years. She’s been an OSL chaplin and conference leader for 20 years. She was the keynote speaker for an OSL Event in Nairobi, Kenya in April 2007. She presently serves as the OSL director of region 3 (Southeast United States). Ruth is the founder and director of HEMS Ministries, a teaching center of applied theology in healing evangelism, ministry equipping and spirituality, which is biblically based and activated by the Holy Spirit. She ministers in the apostolic and prophetic. Her passion is to see people grow deeper in the Lord and step out into ministry.

Norma Dearing is the executive director of Impact Communication Ministries and host of the radio program The Healing Touch. She spent fourteen years as director of prayer ministry for Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida, with Francis MacNutt, where she developed the Schools of Healing Prayer and Foundation of Healing Prayer courses. Author and radio personality Norma Dearing has spent thousands of hours listening to and praying with those in need of emotional, physical, or spiritual healing. Incorporating Biblical teaching, prayer and testimony, this ministry is devoted to the healing of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs and concerns of its listeners.

Workshops offered during the conference include Faith For Healing, Forgiveness and Healing, Discernment and Healing, Deliverance and Healing, Overcoming Fear, Overcoming Disappointment and Growing in the Prophetic/Guidelines for Prophetic Ministry and others.

One of the featured workshops will be by guest presenter-Don Jaeger of Winter Park, Florida. Don will be sharing his testimony and leading a workshop on Overcoming Fear. In October 1992, Don Jaeger was healed of ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease. Such was the first recorded medically documented healing of that dread disease. Don submitted himself for prayer at a healing conference led by the Reverend Canon Jim Glennon, in Orlando. From that time on, Don has been active in the healing ministry, founding the Glennon House, a healing center in Winter Park, Florida.
