Ribbon Sundance hosting poets through April

Sundance hosting poets through April
By Susan Skorupa • sskorupa@rgj.com • March 29, 2009

To celebrate the start of National Poetry Month, two local poets will combine their interpretive talents to read the work of a third local wordsmith at Sundance Book Store on Thursday.

Shaun Griffin and Steven Nightingale will read selections from Bruce Laxalt's "Songs of Mourning and Worship," a volume published by Black Rock Press three years ago that explores Laxalt's life with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, and his work as a lawyer.
