Thumbs up Raising awareness,Fred Siwak

Fred Siwak
Fred Siwak, whose story I told in 2004, explores new lands not by body but by mind, through his artwork and the generosity of dozens of travelers. Siwak, 55, of Ipswich, has amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease, which has left him paralyzed. To raise awareness of the disease and to stay connected with the world, Siwak started a project to get a piece of his computer-generated art photographed in every country in the world. He now has a mere 12 countries to go, so help him out if you are on your way to Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Comoros, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Grenada, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Suriname, or Taiwan . You can e-mail Siwak at seaweed@gis.net. Read the original story
