Default My sister was diagnosted with ALS

Hi,
My sister is my best friend, my everything. Last Christmas we got the news she has ALS. It started low in her lower extremities and the disease is progressing slowly. Thank god. I am in pain. I just can't emagine my life without her. I am a nurse and I know what is to come. We have had the talks. I am strong for her infront of her, but falling apart when I am alone. I will be the one taking care of her. I wouldn't have it any other way, but I am falling apart. I am hoping that people that have gone through or is going through the same thing I am, I can find help, some advise, someone that understands this...Deb

There is a very active forum, http://www.alsforums.com/forum/index.php. This is not to take away from Neurotalk which is absolutely wonderful, but this section is, thankfully, slow.
