LEWISTOWN — Family members of Bill LeFevre, a former resident of Yeagertown, have asked for the community’s help to pay for mounting medical costs.

LeFevre was diagnosed in March 2006 with Lou Gehrig's disease. Before LeFevre was diagnosed, he was a house painter and loved to fish and hunt.

LeFevre can not do these things now and is completely disabled. LeFevre depends on someone to care for him 24 hours a day and as a result, medical bills and other expenses have piled up.

Donations can be made to Rabun County Bank, P.O. Box 845, Clayton, GA 30525 or Mike LeFevre, P.O. Box 167, Yeagertown, PA 17099.
