Question Which is what?

When one enters braintalk2.org they arrive at this site. When one enters www.als.net they arrive at the site of the company that Mr. Heywood's brother started. This entry brings you to the 'old' site?

and that site appears to have began last October, yet the original braintalk has existed a long time but now it appears that none of the posts prior to
say june, 2006 can be found. They were once pointed out on another web site altogether.

When you enter braintalk2.org a message briefly appears that says something about not being the original site, changing to the original site . . . ?

Can someone explain what happened to these site(s), the history of this . . . whatever happened?

hi muonone.

here is a short version:

braintalk had serveral server crashes. the last one went on for months with not much word as to when or if it was going to return.

docjohn, who already had a large forum called phychcentral graciously started and up hosted what was going to be a temp site for braintalk members.

hence braintalk2.

but we all liked it so much we asked him if he would keep it going even if braintalk got up and running again. which it did. then docjohn ran a poll on a new name.

hence neurotalk.

but if you had bookmarked the site in the beginning...it might still say braintalk2 fo you.

the braintalk that got up and running in october is braintalk with the same site owner, admins and mods. as far as i know, but please correct me if i am wrong, the archived old posts are not there.

for a longer version you can go to the community forum feedback and check out the old posts.

hope i haven't confused you. neurotalk has no affilitation to braintalk, just some of the members post both places.

Curious

Ya also noticed Muon at both. How are you doing? Your going to like and appreciate this site as the members here have been given their voices back and that is so good.

There will be another Als site here soon in which it will be Als Pals and Cals talking and just fraternizing with each other and Bobby will have his own site that we can reference.

What do you think of that now. Seeing as you are in the Boston area did you get to that last conference. If so what hapened.

A lot of the old Braintalk Pals are scattered all over the sites with no actual home to come to. Want to give me a hand on notifying them when the forum is up and running.

Missed bugging you lol
