I can't answer that really as it could be totally unrelated, but I would suggest you post over on one or two of those other forums. Then other members will be more likely to see your posts and offer advice.

Doesn't sound like ALS to me, my symptoms are much worse than yours, extreme twitching, weakness in both arms and my right leg is totally stiff, pinky and ring finger in right hand are stiff and not moving properly, apart from that chronic cough and need to keep clearing my throat, issues with swallowing as well and cramps all over, had all my blood work done, MRI, EMG, NCS, VEP etc ! everything came back normal, most doctors believe i have Benign fasciculation syndrome (BFS), even for me its hard to accept that there's nothing wrong with me and i dont have ALS since the symptoms are so severe but thats the way it is that being said i think you need to relax
