I see mods have closed many threads and removed posts over at bt1... one post in particular by john lester where he stated the google ads generated 99% of the funds for the site....It was only deleted after a member confronted him.

:mad: so if google ads generated 99% of the funds for the site, what and where are the donations being spent on :confused:

It's very nice to me meet you...
I for one am glad to see a place where I can find some old friends and meet some new ones..and have open discusssions on a variety of ALS issues..
I don't know all of what happens on other sites..but my personal point of view.is...all of us have unique personalities and opinions.. and some of us tend to more stubborn than others...but we are all on the same side here..ALS is the enemy..not each other...
Disagreements are going to happen..but "hopefully " we can still be kind to one another even when we do disagree..

Trust me...we don't need Dave from El Paso here. Rather than go into all his claims, go to the "Patients like me" forum and read some of his posts and the exchanges that have taken place....Believe me, you will understand.

I do hope that no one will join here to try to use this forum to be malicious to another person..

Nice to meet you as well Lisa. Sorry our first meeting has to be about this, I am usually an extremely tolerant person and definitely think (and allow) everyone should have freedom to share their experiences, but this Dave seems to have a hidden agenda and I don't trust he has everyones best interest at heart. If he did then he would have a different attitude about the way he posts.
