Hey Dave,
That's what gets me about my brother....he was always on the go. He worked alot, rode a motorcycle, loved walks in the park...all those things. Now I guess his room is where he feels safe. If it is mentioned that he get outside on the deck, he then types he needs a better wheelchair. When we say we'll get him one, he types "not now". I guess he is dealing with ALS the best way he can....the only way he knows as he doesn't seem to be interested in getting on the internet to see what other PALS can and do do. I just wish he was more proactive....I wish he was more like you. Regardless, though, I will respecthis wishes and keep him happy and comfortable for as long as I can.
My best to you....and thanks!
Alison
