Thumbs Up A second opinion for Lou Gehrig's Disease

A second opinion for Lou Gehrig's Disease

my thinking when you go for your second opinion is to take only the tests results and any mri's you've had done from your first neurologist.

do not take the diagnosis of the first neuro.

make the second neurologist earn his money and start from scratch except for mri's and any tests.

you can request it that way when they send your medical records or you can get your records and take them yourself.

i just believe in making the 2ed and 3rd neuro's look at you with an open mind, clean slate and not just follow the lead of the first neuro diagnosis.

there are plenty of misdiagnosis, wrong diagnosis of als/mnd.
just google it up and see for yourself.

there are things that mimic the symptoms of als.
