Can anyone recomend any sleep meds/ anti-anxiety meds that do not lower breathing levels?

Hi Twigs
hope you dont mind me commenting here, but sleep is a big issue for my husband and son with Tourette Syndrome have you ever tried melatonin we find that it is most effective at low dose (600 MICROgrams) before bed because it is a natural substance, usually produced by the pineal gland when it gets dark, many in this modern world have trouble synthesising it because of our electric lights, LED displays on clocks , TVs etc all of which give that glow that inhibits natural melatonin production The melatonin supps are available at all drug strores, health stores, and even many supermarkets Here is some general info on it and here is a list of possible drug interactions between supplements and meds HTH

Every med has side effects. Often the side effects are worse than the ailment itself...
