Jeff..
I think this is yet another application..of HUCB...and not Huang..
I personally feel stem cells hold promise for future generations..and that they may provide "temporary" benefits in some..while others will have none at all..
Unfortunately at present I feel those who pursue them will ultimately end up with less money and ALS..as there will not be a significant enough impact now in their present state..
Despite the hype..I think the promise of stem cells are more geared for future generations..the generation of PALS today need research geared towards more immediate options...Lisa
