Post free power wheelchairs

Senior program: free power wheelchairs
The Senior Wheels USA Program makes power wheelchairs available free to qualified senior citizens and permanently disabled people.

Recipients must have Medicare Part B coverage and any of the following medical diagnoses that prevent them from walking unassisted in the home or using a manual wheelchair themselves in the home. No deposit is required.

The medical conditions are: respiratory failure, congestive heart failure, stroke, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease, amputation, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, renal failure, Parkinson's disease, diabetic neuropathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, polio, spinal stenosis, hemiplegia/quadriplegia, cerebral palsy, asthma with COPD and emphysema.

If people do not qualify under insurance, they may be able to receive a wheelchair through Senior Wheels' donation program.

For information, call 1-800-246-6010 or go to www.seniorwheelsusa.com.
