Hi my mother has Alzheimer's .

She had a brain scan in 02 , given medication called Exbixa , that is holding it all back .

My mother is also diabetic, where my mother was caring for my brother, who has a mental issue . when my father was alive , she never took care in herself , so neglected her own medication for diabetic , doing so she was was depriving , the flow of the oxygen to her brain , so by the time my father died , the shock of seeing my father have a heart attack in front of her knock my mother for six, which really hight lighted the symptoms of dementia , she became double incontinent , wondering the street not knowing where she was going.

So I got her to the consultant that refereed her for brain scan & told her she had AD , with the medication it stop the double incontinent , wondering the street not knowing where she was going.

Now 5 years on the incontinent is coming back slowly , but she still mobile and go to day center 4 days a week , still knows me and my 4 adult children and all are name .

My mother is 76 , was told she had AZ at the age of 71
