Heart We are here for you, Phil!

Hi Phil,

Continuing to think of you.
Offering healing and supportive thoughts and prayers for you and for your wife, as well.

Hopefully, you will find some effective distractions while awaiting the scans and then also awaiting the results. This can be an especially stressful time for many people.

Thank you DejaVu so much, it means a lot. Distractions I have. The problems with my hip, groin and surrounding area is getting worse. It kept me awake for a couple of hours before going to sleep last night and greeted me this morning when I awoke. I'm being taken off the Lyrica because it's not helping with the pain. With my Neurologist concentrating on the coming brain scans we didn't talk much about it. I was going to wait after Thursday's scans but if it continues to get worse I will contact her. I'm not on any pain relief.

Sorry to go on and on when you were only wishing me the best.
I really do appreciate it Back from the Neurologist
Phil

Hi Phil
Seems like you're getting the full work-up. Hope all goes smoothly on Thursday and there isn't too long a wait for results.

Take care over there - at least you'll have the RWC coming up to distract you.

Wishing you a good outcome.

Hi Phil,

Please, no apologies needed!
You have an open invitation to express all you wish to express, anytime!
we are all interested in how you are doing!

Glad you are tapering off Lyrica since it's not helping you.
I do hope you find relief soon!

Your concern is completely understandable. You need to know what it is and then you can plan what to do about it.

Neurologist got back to me this morning, she is so thorough. She said besides the Brain scans she wanted me to have an ultra sound of my hip and also an MRI of my lower back to find out what's causing the pain in those areas.
She also said she didn't believe the memory problems and the PN were linked and that she believed they were different issues.

She also has ordered another blood test, not sure what this one is for. will be interested to ask when I have it.

Thanks again everyone.
