Default Amyloid Plaque Reduction/Grape Seed Extract

I read so many posts from caregivers taking care of dementia patients and horrible stories in memory care facilities. I'm banking on Grape Seed Extract to keep my memory as well as so much other issues this OPC addresses.

I started taking this OPC at 57 and I'm 80 this summer. It's not too late to think about prevention.

Great info! I have breezed thru some of the info at apoe4. info site and looked thru the Evolving Past Alzheimer's youtubes and have tried to glean what is some of the supplements that have produced positive change.

I have learned thru genetic testing I am apoe3/4.

I will now be looking into Grape Seed Extract. Thanks --

This (slightly technical) paper explains some of the background to what we know about the roles of the apoE proteins in AD.

My friend and I were just talking and she's gone back on Prevagen, she is 82, I am 81. She believes it helps her mind.

I continue with my Grape Seed Extract and believe it helps my mind in reducing amyloid plaque...I'm headed into 25 yrs of taking it. It offers and does so much.

There are too many positive links on Prevagen and many reviews from enough to give it a good run. These reviews that attack other than pharma drugs, I wonder who is making money on their work.

Just had a visit from a neighbor and she is now a caregiver for her 81 yr husband who is on the dementia path. Very very sad, this smart, kind man who is lost. I brought grape seed extract to them yrs ago but they ignored. Many many do.

Now my other neighbor 94, didn't ignore and has been taking Grape Seed Ex for about 15 yrs and her mind is strong and she sounds in 70's when we talk on phone.

So, I'm giving info, take it or don't. I'm in 26 yr of taking Grape Seed Ex.

Caroline, there is an review of the evidence for the causes of Alzheimer's Disease (including the roles of the apoE4 gene and virus infections) published by the BBC.

The review was written by David Robson and appeared on 7 October 2021.
