I have those two annies on my basialr stem. I seem to have "super anneurysms." They have been stented and clipped and are still growing, causing strokes and seizures. I don't know if I should have another craniotomy because I might not survive it.
I feel fine, no pain, but I do talk funny now and drool a ton as well as have trouble swallowing. I am afraid to go to sleep becuase I might not wake. Why me? ![]()

Its good to express what you are feeling sometimes. I am responding to you as there is very little activity on this website, but I read what you were saying and sympathise. Hopefully more people might write in and realise its good to have an active forum.
So you think sleep is overrated? I guess this is in the same vein as retirement is now passe? It cannot be that easy to fall asleep either with the Sword of Damaclese (spelling?) over you - not knowing if you will wake up. I can only empathise a little as my aneurism is only a hillock compared to your two mountainous ones. I don't like the pounding of blood in my ears too much which I appear to be experiencing at the moment. I do know that that the one thing that prevents me from sleeping is drinking any coffee or tea after midday or I will be tossing and turning until about 4 in the morning. Hot Chocolate and Green Tea also keep me awake. Very best wishes to you. ![]() |
