Hi, I have no words of wisdom, nor any advise but just wanted to let you know that I was recently diagnosed with 2 carotid ophthalmic aneurysms. I just had 1, which was almost 9mm in size, repaired with a new procedure called a pipeline stent. The other will be monitored as it was only 2 mm. From what I understand, this stent is used particularly for aneurysms in the internal carotid artery, which is where mine are, near the optic nerve. MY surgery was on June 8, 2011 and I am back to work as of last week. I do have extreme fatigue, a lot of emotional issues I'm dealing with, headaches, memory loss and a few other things.
