"Look through my eyes"

Look into these blue eyes
Now my window for spies
Do they see the mystery deep inside?
Not that I really have anything to hide

Then I try to close my eyes
But they can still see inside
They are watching my head show
Not sure what they all may know?

Their lights hurt my eyes
But, they all give it a try
They do not experience it though
So how can the Dr.'s really know?

And running from my eyes
Are the tears from my cries
Wonder if I will ever be the same?
I'm tired of playing the brain game

Looking through my eyes
There is no huge surprise
Grieve for a life I loved so much
My injury is one you can't touch

They look into my eyes
Tell me I just need to try
They have no idea how this feels
And living like this, is so surreal!!

The sun blinds my eyes?
How I miss going outside
My dark glasses, nocturnal ways
I Miss the bright, sunshiny days!!

Time to blink my eyes
Try to learn and realize
Life has changed with "Annie" here
Look ahead to more amazing years

Love stares into my eyes
Know that I've survived
So awesome to look back into his
Knowing, how fragile life really is!!
