Ok, Im going to start taking lyrica and metoprolol. The metoprolol is a beta blocker. The lyrica is for nerve pain and or used for seizures when taken with another anti-seizure medication. Im not in any pain, so why take it? Well I took it for 3 months and it seemed to get rid of the crazy little stuff that was bothering me daily. The crazy little stuff is back and has been since I stopped taking it. Ok, why did I stop taking it? Well, I had an eeg done and there was NO evidence of seizure activity, and the neurologist said he didnt prescribe it to me because of seizure activity, he gave it to me because my head itch were the surgery was. I told my cardiologist about the strange things that where happening to me to include the very fast pounding heartbeat episodes. So he put me on metoprolol which I also stopped taking because it made me crazy at night when trying to sleep. I was then told by gp dr that I should take it because it will aid in preventing another aneurysm or stroke. So becuase I dont wanna stroke out and die, Im taking it as well. I sure hope I dont end up back in the rabbit-hole again. WISH ME LUCK!
