Default A walking miracle....

I am soo happy to say that my mom is a walking miracle. Last time I posted on here I was scared to death. My mom was taken to our major hospital with 2 brain anuerysms, one had ruptered. We were told she has the worst bleed there is with survival. She made it through surgery, made it through the vasospasm stage, and is home now. Today is day 30 since her bleed and she is doing AMAZINGLY well. She is pretty much back to where she was before all of this, minus her memory. She remembers alot, but still gets confused about alot of stuff. She has a hard time realizing if it happened recently or 10yrs ago. I am in such awe at her recovery and how far she has come already!! God has worked with her in miraculous ways!!! I love her soo much, and truly cherish every minute of every day we have together. Thanks to everyone on here for their support through such a tough time!!! We still have a long road ahead, but I we have been blessed more then we could have ever dreampt we would be

That is such fantastic news - I am so glad for both of you! Make sure she doesn't try to go too far too fast, she has been through so much.

Cheers

Smile Great!

That's fabulous news. I suffered a ruptured aneurysm in November of this past year. It was touch and go for me for a month. After neurosurgical ICU, it was inpatient rehabilitation for another month. Since then I have been working hard with my PT, OT and ST. I understand the difficulty with confusion and word finding. I still have some left sided weakness and a bit of a facial droop, but I just take it one day at a time. I wish your mom the very best in her recovery. Good luck to you and God Bless.
