I had brain surgery for three aneurysms in 2005 at Johns Hopkins. I am very lucky and alive. My father died of one ruptured brain aneurysm suddenly and we buried him on New Years Eve Day of the millennium so I do realize I am lucky. Had he not died my Dr. would not have looked for an aneurysm in my brain at all.
My question is this: Since the surgery I stutter, not much any more but more so when I meet new people. I have short term memory loss and I also have GREAT difficulty making myself talk on the telephone; I get very confused when I do. Is this normal? Thank you so much! Mary |
