Hi everyone
I had an unruptured aneurysm clipped nearly five years ago. This has been a long road for me, as I also have Multiple Sclerosis, and my annie was found during a routine MRI. Actually, they did an MRA as a training exercise for new staff and it showed up then. I had my clipping surgery in Feb 2004, had a scar from the top of one ear, across the top of my head and down to the other ear - ten inches long, 45 staples and 3 stitches. Next month, I am having a CT angio, and seeing my neurosurgeon in March - hopefully, that will be my last appointment to do with this. For those of you who are starting this journey, I wish you all the best and hope that you use this site because there are heaps of wonderfully supportive and knowledgeable people with lots of great experience and info to share. Cheers Lyn |
