Hi Robi

Great to meet you properly. Is there someone you can take to doctor's appointments to help you to remember the information you are getting? I would like to think that it is not too late to make arrangements to see a social worker - do you have a local community health centre, or a trusted GP (or PCP depending on where you are from)? It is always useful to have someone to talk to when things are tough like this.

You know what? Big deal if your doctor has already told you about your surgery, you have been through an incredible ordeal and forgetting information is part of the condition. So in other words, you are allowed to forget stuff and it is their responsibility to give you information.

Asking for help is not a weakness either - anyone, no matter how strong needs a hand up sometimes, and for you, this is your time. Ask for help and you may be surprised wih the reaction you get.

All the best and know that I am thinking of you

Regards

Lyn
