Default new to forum and waiting for surgery

hi, about 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with a couple of aneurysms, one being 9mm and the other 2mm. I am being treated at Univ of Penn in Philly and feel good about that. My surgery is on the 7th of Sept. Today is my pre-admin testing day, so I am sure to get more information today. They want to do coil embolisation because my aneurysm is difficult to get to. However, I am allergic to nickel and this may complicate things. I have to get an allergy test for that today as well.

Very nervous, as I have never been operated on before, except for having my wisom teeth removed. Waiting is really difficult and my body is reacting to all of the stress. Lots of stiff muscles, neck, back and shoulder pain. Also, I got really sick when they knocked me out for my wisdom teeth, so a little worried that recovery won't be quick.

Anyway, been reading lots of posts and learning as much as I can.

Denise
