Default Is there some kind of aneurysm of the brain called AVM?

My friend has something like that, and she has to have surgery on the 10th to remove it before it ruptures

Hey there!

Your friend has an arterio-venous malformation. The forum won't let me post links yet because I'm new, but you can check out the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and then search for AVM to get a good description. Good luck and many blessings to your friend!

Many Blessings,
Janet
