Default unruptured brain aneurysm

Only recently found that I have one and am curious as to these things affect your think and conversation abilities. I do have trouble stringing my sentences together and seem to take longer to answer than most (this is what my wife says). Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Don,
Welcome to Neurotalk and I am sorry to hear about your aneurysm. However better to now and have options, then rupture.
I am 10 months post op of clipping from my unruptured annie, and have found processing and memory where and are an issue. I am a step slower but hey i am still in the game.

I hope others chime in soon for you. I just wanted to welcome you. I hope that you have great docs, and if you do not , change....
also go slow and ask all the questions you need. Take it all a day at a time.
Life after surgery is very doable ,

Hi
I can tell you of what I have experienced
I had no symptoms while my aneurysm was unruptured didn't even know I had one untill the day it ruptured, most people are like me and have no symptoms.
After the rupture was a different story, mentally I had alot of trouble with word searching and my thinking process, I am still not as sharp as i was pre aneurysm. My moods have suffered too and I went through a depression and went to mental health counseling and take medication for it but I am fighting my way back.
Do you have a plan to have yours fixed? good luck to you and sorry you have an aneurysm
Ruthie

Hi

Are the doctors going to doing any type of procedure to close the annie such as coiling or clipping?
My mom's annie was coiled.
Best Wishes to you
